It's a Bit Grim Up North

A nice day out around Pendle Hill and the Forest of Bowland. Only grim if you don’t like glorious cycling country! Start from Whalley and head up Pendle Hill, north to Settle and Clapham before returning to Whalley via Bowland Knotts and Cow Ark. A nice day out in glorious cycling country with just 106km and 1.75xAAAs it’s really not too grim. There is of course the longer ‘It’s Grim Up North 200’ if you are interested in something a tad more challenging. Whalley is along the A59 from junction 31 of the M6 and there is free parking available near the start. It’s even on the rail network too.
